Dr. Jason Alster
Dr. Jason Alster received his B.A. in psychology from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and later obtained a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers). Immediately following the completion of his Masters, Dr. Jason Alster went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Jason Alster was involved in many activities that led to him receiving the Oral Cancer Foundation Award for Public Service. In addition to his DDS degree, he also completed a one-year honors program in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology while at NYU.
Following dental school, Dr. Jason Alster completed three months of an Oral Surgery internship at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Medical Center followed by a one-year General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. Subsequently, Dr. Jason Alster also completed a two-year, part time post-graduate fellowship in dental implant surgery at NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Jason Alster continues to teach residents as an attending doctor in the Department of Dentistry at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is also involved with many dental organizations and continues to stay educated on the latest in the field of dentistry. Outside the office, Dr.Jason Alster is an avid skier, fisherman, and foodie. He loves traveling with his wife Katie and spending quality time with his two beautiful children.
