Meet the Team

Erica, Registered Dental Hygienist

Erica is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a degree in Dental Hygiene, and she also has her Expanded Functions and CPR certifications. She has over 40 years of experience in dentistry and has worked alongside doctors in general dentistry cases, periodontics, and pedodontics! What she enjoys most about her job is getting to know her patients and providing a smile and friendly touch to them during every appointment that helps them feel comfortable.

Originally from Fair Lawn, Erica and her husband Jeff have three dogs and three grown “kids” named Will, Meredith, and Matthew, whom she loves spending time with whenever possible. When she isn’t busy at work, she’s participating in the church choir and acting in local community theatre productions. She actually attended high school with Dr. Alster and they graduated the same year!

Mimi, Registered Dental Hygienist

Mimi is from Hasbrouck Heights, and she’s been working in the dental field for 27 years. After earning her Bachelor of Science at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ, she went on to achieve her Masters in Public Admin from Farleigh Dickinson University. She is also certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She loves the flexibility of her job!

Mimi has been married to Mario for over 25 years, and they have twin sons who are both in college. When she isn’t busy at the office, she enjoys going to spin class and traveling.

Lori, Dental Assistant

Our registered dental assistant Lori James helps Dr. Alster create the clean, comfortable, and safe environment you expect during a visit to our office. From taking digital X-rays of your mouth to performing your Zoom! teeth whitening procedure, Lori puts all of her energy into making your experience in the dentist’s chair a relaxing experience.

Lori came to Dr. Alster’s practice in 1997, and since that time she’s become an integral part of our dental team. She continues her education regularly through the Dental Studies Institute, keeping up-to-date on the latest in dental techniques to ensure you get quality care. She is certified in CPR.

She loves the patients she sees in our office, and she keeps your wellbeing in mind at all times. Her favorite celebrity smile belongs to Julia Roberts.

Milly , Dental Assistant

Milly has been working in dentistry for 20 years and counting, and she attended both Bergen Community College and Hackensack Technical School.  She is also a certified assistant and has her CPR certification as well. The best part of her job is knowing that Dr. Alster and Dr. Jason will go above and beyond to deliver elite services! They genuinely care about each patient’s health, and it’s great to be a part of an office that feels like home and treats people right.

Milly is from the Bronx, NY, and she has two amazing children and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, and going to church. She is a very creative person and will talk to anyone like she’s known them forever.
